This year’s Expand North Star (ENS) 2024 wasn’t just another tech event—it marked a pivotal moment where global AI innovation took center stage. AGCC’s participation at ENS provided a unique opportunity to engage with some of the most influential figures in both the public and private sectors. We were honored to welcome H.E. Ahmed Bin Sulayem, CEO of DMCC, Khaled Al Mazrouei, Head of NBI Business Development at du Telecommunications, and H.E. Mr. Dohyun Kang, the Vice Minister of Science and ICT from Korea, to our booth. A special highlight was also meeting the UAE's Minister of AI, H.E. Omar Sultan AlOlama.

All of the Korean startups joining AGCC at ENS 2024 focused on AI and deep tech, spanning industries like healthcare, automation, retail, and beyond.
For AGCC, this environment was ideal. We brought Korean startups to Dubai not just to showcase potential, but to connect them with the right stakeholders—whether they were investors, government officials, or business leaders. Sectors like AI-driven healthcare, industrial automation, and smart retail technologies were among the areas explored, with tangible discussions around how these innovations can take root and thrive in the GCC.
AGCC continues to work with AI-driven companies worldwide, and events like ENS serve as critical touchpoints for fostering collaboration and growth. The GCC is moving swiftly toward adopting cutting-edge technologies, and the conversations sparked at ENS will undoubtedly influence the next phase of AI development in the region.
