What is DMCCxAGCC: Global AI Challenge *Sustainability Edition?

The DMCCxAGCC: Global AI Challenge *Sustainability Editionis set to be the largest AI startup competition at ENS, with a mission to uncover groundbreaking AI innovations that can make a significant positive impact (People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnerships) in the GCC region.

Who can apply?

Startups, research teams, and developers who are working on advanced AI solutions are encouraged to participate.

What is the objective?

Participants are invited to showcase their most cutting-edge AI technologies, demonstrating their potential to drive positive change and scalability across the GCC region.

What does Sustainability Edition mean?

Sustainability focus: Applying companies should align with at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Timeline

Deadline: 01 October 24

Preliminary Round (Application and Screening Period): This includes an online review of all the submitted applications and the selection of Semi-finalists based on the initial evaluation of the application materials.

Semifinals: 08 October 24

Virtual Presentations:  Semi-finalists will present their AI solutions to a subset of judges in a virtual format.

Final: 16 October 24

In-Person Presentations: Finalists will have the opportunity to present their solutions on stage at Expand North Star GITEX 2024. 

Judging Panel Q&A: Finalists will participate in a Q&A session with the judging panel. 

Award Ceremony: The competition will culminate with an on-stage award ceremony following the Q&A.
